North Peru Private and  Tailor-Made Circuit

An 18-day private journey through northern Peru, combining archaeology, mountains, cloud forest and Amazonian landscapes.

Beyond Machu Picchu lies another Peru.

A Peru of ancient civilizations, remote mountain landscapes, cloud forests, hidden waterfalls, and archaeological treasures still untouched by mass tourism.

This private North Peru circuit is designed for curious travelers seeking a deeper and more authentic experience of the country.

Your journey begins in Lima before heading north to Caral, the oldest known civilization in the Americas. From there, travel through the Andes to Chavín de Huántar, one of Peru’s most important archaeological sites, and continue into the spectacular scenery of Huascarán National Park.

Discover the coastal heritage of Trujillo, explore the immense adobe city of Chan Chan, and uncover the history of ancient cultures that flourished long before the Inca Empire.

Further north, the landscape changes dramatically. Mountain roads lead to hidden valleys, traditional villages, and the cloud forests of Amazonas. Here, you will encounter the impressive fortress of Kuélap, often called the “Machu Picchu of the North,” and admire the spectacular Gocta Waterfall, one of the tallest waterfalls in the world.

The journey concludes in Tarapoto, where tropical landscapes, waterfalls, and Amazonian influences create a completely different atmosphere from the Andes and the coast.

This itinerary is ideal for travelers who want to go beyond the classic tourist routes and discover a Peru that remains largely unknown to international visitors.

Every departure is private, every itinerary is flexible, and every journey is designed around your interests, travel style, and pace.
